Noooob Question: What's a month?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but with the 11 month and 7 month windows, is a month actually a month or is it 30 days? For example, if I want to book a trip in the 7 month window to check in on July 1, can I book on December 1 or do I have to wait to December 2 (210 days before)?

If you want to book a stay beginning July 1 at 7 months out, you can book it on December 1. If you're going to book it 11 months out, you do that August 1st.

Not to complicate this further, but what if I want to book a trip starting on September 30th at 7 months? Can I book on February 28th?

Theoretically you should be able to, but it seems that sometimes the "computers" wouldn't let the CM's do it. If I wanted a reservation that began on September 30th at 7 months, February 28 or 29th would be the first day I would try.
