I was in denial that it could actually happen. DH broke the news to me this morning. I kept yelling, 'No, I love him...". Adam has been my favorite player for about 8 years.

I told DH that I need to go to therapy now because I feel completely abandoned.

I was pretty sad about Arroyo too.

When my dd, 12, came downstairs this morning for breakfast I said to her.."Hey, isn't your Pats shirt an Adam V. one?" When she said yes, I told her she was going to have to get a new shirt then. I thought the poor thing was going to pass out!!! She just sat there and teared up..."But Mom, first it's Johnny Damon, and now Adam?? Why are all the cute players leaving?"
It's a business kiddo...plain and simple. Coach B. decided that Adam just wasn't worth what Indy was going to pay him. We'll see....I'm not so sure I agree with that call, but Coach B. is usally right in his judgement calls. I don't think we're going to recognize the Pats when we see them in the fall!!!
Way too many changes here in NE sports...it's enough to give you the willies or nightmares.
