Can someone tell me the difference, like what Ipad can do that nook can't? Thanks.

I love my NOOK. Especially now that the Nook HD and HD+ are loaded with google and google apps. My Nook can be a Nook and a Kindle....

I really just use it as an e-reader, play a few games or check email. Works for me. And I love being able to walk into a Barnes and Noble and get help.

I love my Nook HD+, but I think an Ipad can do more. Nook doesn't have a camera. That's the only thing I don't like about it.

Pretty much everything a Ipad can do except the camera. There are not as many apps for the nook as the Ipad but it is getting there. I now have gmail email also with it due to google in the last update. I love it. It goes wherever I go. Only thing I don't like about it - wifi - battery runs low real quick. I have watched movies, etc. I know they are offering it a lot cheaper this week for the HD+ - $120 off I think it is for Fathers Day. I have had mine since Christmas. I had the original Nook before it.

Just an FYI. There are quite a few rumors around the Internet that Barnes and noble are a company in jeopardy in 2013. They have a higher chance close their doors. A few companies have tried to buy them just for the Nook Technology but they won't sell. I would recommend the ipad. I have one, its awesome. I even have the nook ap and buy books through that.
