Nook deal!!! Mother's Day is coming!!

I have been looking for another great price on the 3g Wi-Fi Nook ever since Christmas when I bought my daughter one for $89 at overstock. Barnes and Noble has it on eBay right now for $99 with free shipping. Just listed this morning and they are flying out of there. I think they are refurbs, but so was my daughters and hers has been working great! I also had my $15 eBay groupon to use which brought the price down even more!

Are you sure you bought the 3G Wi-Fi? Only wondering because I looked at that deal on that day and it was $99 plus $5 for shipping - wondering if you got the 3G?

Hmmmm....been thinking about getting a Nook, but I'm worried about the "refurb" part. Are there any limitations to the warranty, or anything else I should be worried about if it's not brand new?

I don't have a refurbed nook, but I've bought refurbed computers and i-pods and have never had a problem with any of them. Maybe I've just been lucky though.

As long as the savings was substantial enough I wouldn't have the slightest hesitation buying a refurbed nook, especially direct from Barnes & Noble.

Nope, the one linked here IS the 3G + WiFi version though. MSRP on that model is $199 so $99 for refurbed is a very nice savings!

They have refurbed color nooks listed as well, but they're still $200+ with a savings of only $24, not really worth going refurbed on the color version, at least IMO

Absolutely positive it was the 3G + WiFi. And you are right. I was shaving $20 off. That must be how much I told my hubby it was!

ETA: You can buy a warranty from Squaretrade.com for cheap
