princess: A favorite fellow DISer recently said to me...

"I dreamed that I started a thread named NOODLES"... :Pinkbounc

...and on the DISboards, as luck would have it, dreams really CAN come true! ;)

Here's to keeping dreams alive!! :wizard:

Speaking of Noodles......

anyone else ever eat "raw" Ramen Noodles?
The ones that come in the plastic. I'll just open the plastic and break the noodles apart and eat them as a snack. They are kind of bland but good.

princess: Welcome to my thread...

....this is the place of dreams :cloud9: .....where pals and even a Princess or two are invited to speak freely without fear of being preyed upon by diabolically devilish dragons and other evil sorts!

but shouldn't we have to stay slightly on topic with noodles?

I have done that too...

Does anyone else here test your Spaghetti noodles (to see it they are done) by throwing a noodle against the refrigerator and if it sticks, they are done and if it falls off they are not done?

I wonder if that works for the people who now buy those stainless steel appliances?
Do the noodles stick to the stainless steel?

I love angel hair myself....and cappellini pomodoro is my favorite at Macaroni Grill.

I hate macaroni and thick spaghetti. I'm also not a fan of ziti.

I also like bow tie pasta with cream sauce, grilled chicken, and sundried tomatos.

Finally! No dragons you say? Free from evil? Truly a place a princess: can call home. :goodvibes

Rafikix3 - Macaroni Grill has cappellini pomodoro too? That's my favorite dish at Olive Garden!

OMG! My son did this last week at school and I thought he was nuts. I didnt think it was healthy to eat raw noodles like that but maybe I am wrong. All I know is he had a tummy ache that night.

Perhaps we could each post a favorite recipe using noodles?

BTW, I have one using RAW ramen noodles somewhere.....
