NONI JUICE...anyone???

I belong to a gym and they are starting to sell something called NONI JUICE!

Is anyone familiar with this JUICE! Suppose to be full of vitamins and give
you allot of energy.

I also understand that you only need to drink a small cup each day?

Is it expensive, worth it???

If any Diser's have tried this I would love your opinion.

I bought a bottle and tried it twice and tossed it. The first time, I spit it out. The second time I tried putting it over ice. It still tasted like sour prune juice. I love healthy products, but I just couldn't take the taste.

I just returned from where it is made in Tahiti (Moorea actually) and all the locals swear by it - they say it is espcecially effective at keeping blood pressure down and all your organs working well. It is supposed to make you very healthy and help you lose weight. We were on an island "tour" and one of the members of our group was a Family Practice doctor from New Jersey and bought some, so I did too. If a doctor thinks it is worthy, I'll give it a try! It is very nasty tasting and even worse smelling, so I drink an ounce with juice mixed in each morning. I hold my nose while I swig it down, it is pretty bad. I have noticed my appetite is suppressed a little, but no other noticable changes Good luck if you decide to try it, I don't think I will buy any more though.

DH has tried this too. He bought 2 bottles of it and drank it straight every morning. He never noticed anything different and got thru part of the 2nd bottle without finishing it. I just threw it out about a month ago. I am always so skeptical of this stuff and DH buys this crap all the time. How about just eating healthy, natural foods and trying to exercise?? Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that's got to be the best way to feel healthier.

On the Budget board, there is a thread where a bunch of us do demos in stores for extra $. Anyway, one of the ladies there demo'd this product, & she said most of the people who tried it said it tasted aweful!!! I think she said she sold very little.
