Yeah, seriously.

Why can't they talk on the random thread? Everyone has their own little conversations on there anyway. That way we wouldn't have to have like 3 threads talking about nothing. And maybe we could have our girl thread back.

All the other cliques have always talked on the random thread. I remember because I was kind of part of one a few years ago. We didn't make like 50 threads about nothing..and we didn't take over the SYF thread either.

Oh that annoys me to NO end! And funny thing, it's ALWAYS the same offenders.
I know I get offtopic sometimes (esp when it comes to blink stuff) but I take it to PMs.

The "I don't feel welcome" thing is BS to me. Uh, it's called making friends for a reason.

Some of us like to leave the high school stuff behind when we leave school every day.

But I think keeping the threads are fine.

All threads on the DISboards are for everyone to participate in, one thread isn't for a certain clique or one thread isn't suppose to be for a certain group. Everyone may post and participate in any thread they want to. This is just a friendly reminder

Definitely. I know I've taken things off topic at times, but I didn't keep doing it for the entire thread!

I never felt welcome on the girls thread and I always felt that I was intentionally ignored, so that's why I never post on it. I agree with you though, it's like turning into a cult or something.

I miss the old girl threads, too. I liked it where everyone was welcoming and even if the guys did lurk they wouldn't post.

I agree, Emily! I've been wanting to say this for so long.

Everytime I post on there, I'm just ignored, so I don't even bother anymore.

I miss the original girl thread (the one that was closed) where we actually talked about our 'girl' problems. I felt like it was the only place I could go to complain about PMS or cramps or bras, lol. It was so much fun, definitely one of my favorite threads ever.

Sadly, I don't think we'll ever have that again. There's all these new clique-y groups that I feel aren't very inclusive.

It has become rather clique-y hasn't it? That's why I stopped posting there. I feel it started to become that way when the whole 'Team VJJ' identity was adopted. The original girl thread was a good place to go and vent about actually GIRL problems.

I would just like to point of something that you all have in common. You all have 10 or fewer posts on the GIRLS thread. Maybe yeah you were ignored. But it doesn't mean you should stop posting. I post on the girl's thread nearly all the time, and I get ignored occassionally, but it doesn't bother me. Sometimes I unintentionally ignore people because their posts got bumped back.

Just post away!

You can't go by those really, there's a new thread quite frequently.
I have been on it before and posted several posts and never gotten an answer. Now, I don't really care, because I've posted on threads where I've ignored people (unintentionally) but I do find it happens a lot on that thread.
I don't think the cliquiness is the issue, more the subject matter. It's a little too random..

And, I agree with Jenny's last post. I posted maybe once or twice about a major girly problem I'd been going through, but really didn't get a response from my questions due to random conversing.

But I totally agree with the thing about having somewhere to post about ACTUAL girl problems. I miss the old Team VJJ thread and such..

And if you do want random conversations, then the random thread is the place to go! Some people can say it's clique-y or whatever, but it's really not!
