I'm thinking about our ADRs for our November trip, but I'm not sure about Thanksgiving.

I was thinking 'Ohana or Boma, possibly WCC, but we don't want the traditional turkey/stuffing/mashed potatoes/etc. I've read that a lot of restaurants offer the traditional, do they have the regular menus as well?

well you just mentioned three places that do traditional thanksgiving on thanksgiving.

Try Teppan Edo if you want something that is not traditional.

What no Turkey on Thanksgiving..:rolleyes1

Nope! We'll have Thanksgiving with DH family and mine (two different meals) the Sunday after, when we get home.

Do any of the restaurants offer at least part of the regular menu in addition to the Thanksgiving menu? That would be fine, too.

Check allearsnet for the listing of what restaurants offered traditional Thanksgiving fare, which ones had the dinners and the regular menu, which ones had just the regular menu. I found it difficult to find some place that didn't have turkey. Biergarten was one that had the normal buffet. Buffets are the best bet but they will have holiday pricing in effect.

Another thing that you can do is eat light that day because the turkey all but disappears the next day. And it won't be out on Wednesday either.

We ate at Boma's last Thanksgiving. They did offer traditional Thanksgiving turkey along with their regular menu. So you could have the oxtail soup with a side of traditional stuffing and zebra domes. It was good, but not great.

Someone upthread mentioned holiday pricing. If we have ddp, the higher prices won't make a difference, right?

I had Thanksgiving lunch at Biergarten in 2006 and remember some of their usual stuff with some traditional Thanksgiving food.

Back in 2002 we eat at the Mexico resturant for Thanksgiving and it was not Thanksgiving food. Wasn't that great either, but you live and learn.

Thanks! Boma is on our list, we've been there twice and we really enjoyed it both times.

I don't care if they are serving the turkey and things, as long as I can get something else!

No, if you have the dining plan, the holiday pricing won't affect you. I never do the dining plan so don't think about that aspect.
