I need help! I'm currently looking for dresses for the girls, and I'm bored of the sites I've been browsing- Davids, Macys/Nordstroms/Lord and Taylor, Watters, Dessy, etc...
:upsidedow
Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look?

Thank you!
:flower3:

actually target has some very cute things right now, as well as H&M. i love vera wang, lela rose and some of the higher end bridal salons as well..... i've found some really cute things on sale even, just at macys, nordstrom etc... but then i am only having one attendant not several to dress! good luck!

its easy, stop looking for BRIDESMAID dresses. I am having all of my girls wear a different dress (same/similar color with approval) to express their personalities. Look at prom and cocktail dresses too!

Thanks! They certainly have a lot of dresses

Target is awesome! I love those higher end places too but I'd really like to be able to pay for some, if not all, of the dress as their BM gift so a little out of the price range. I have found a couple at Nordstroms, the issue is my girls have a wide range of sizes so it's hard to find normal dresses...but I really like patterns.

i dont know if these are good for bridesmaids or not but i love more vintage style dresses and this website has a ton of them.

you have to be quick because they sell out of styles pretty fast within a couple days. if i could i would probably buy one of each!

try zappos too! you can really customize what you are looking for there.

sorry i love dresses :cutie:

I love mod clothing and anthropologie. I always see dresses there on greenweddingshoes.com I love that style. But the dresses a little too short, hehe. I love dresses too...but I never wear them. :confused3

I'm definitely liking the "regular" dress selection better, but like I said, some of the girls are a little larger so it's hard to find dresses from them all in regular dress places. I think I may do that, each girl in a different dress, but I'm having a hard time picking out colors...and I'm a little scared of what some of them would pick out.

Thanks! I really like some of those jcrew dresses, but not such a big fan of those colors.

And thanks to everyone! Please keep them coming. This is so difficult, but it's addicting! :thumbsup2

I actually don't have a pro photo of my bridesmaids uploaded but here is a photo a guest took. I did not buy bridesmaids dresses, just regular dresses that I loved and we had a local seamstress alter them. They are by Alan Schwartz.

And two more that are a little better

Ooooh I like those dresses!

We will be doing convertible dresses similar to the ones at TwoBirdsBridesmaids. We had to find a cheaper alternative since we will also be paying for them. If I get around to it, I will be making them. My mother and I played around and made one just to see how difficult it would be and it really only took an hour. If not, I'll be ordering them from Victoria's Secret. I'm still up in the air as to who will be wearing them, but they are very flattering on all body types and can be tied something like 20 different ways.

Here's a website - it has a lot of sequined stuff, so it may not be your thing, but it has a ton of dresses:

Here's another that has a lot of fun vintage style dresses:

I also photographed a wedding where the bms all wore black slacks or long skirts (their preference) and then they all had cooridinating teal tops with a sequined broach. It was different and beautiful.
