Non smoking rooms?

We finally booked our first trip (in May) to DLP tonight Thank you to those of you who helped me figure out how to book from Germany and get the UK rate

One thing I can't figure out is if smoking is allowed in the hotel rooms (we are staying at Davey Crocekt's Ranch). I assume it probably is in at least some rooms. If it is, can we request a non smoking room? How would we go about doing that, and have people had good luck with it?

Hi have just looked in the new brochure and under 'other rooms-upon request) it states that in Davy Crcokett there are non smoking cabins.

My guess would be to ring reservations or the ranch itself and put a request in before you go.

Davy Crockett is fab-we stayed there in 2007 and loved every minute of it.

I thought the same. I have been told so by a CM on the phone last summer.

I thought so too, until last Monday when we checked into the NBC we were offered the choice between a smoking and a non-smoking room.

There certainly used to be smoking cabins at the DCR, there is photographic proof of one member of the DIS smoking in his cabin on here

I requested a smoking room when we went in Jan but was told by the CM on the phone that all the rooms where non-smoking, I also queried this at check-in but again was told the hotel was competely non-smoking. The rooms we had were close to one of the exits so OH just went outside but we saw several people leaning out of windows smoking, even saw a CM walk past one of them and not say anything


I'm sure I read something somewhere that France is now the same as the UK - completely non-smoking in public places etc except that in France the hotel rooms weren't covered under these regulations so presume that it would be up to each hotel owner to decide if they have smoking in the rooms or not - can't find it now so I might be wrong

Thanks for all the input everyone So, I guess we will email the TA and ask to request a non smoking room and then figure it soudns like our odds are pretty good--I am glad to hear that
