Non-preferred sites via Disney Online?

I've been checking rates for tent-camping at Fort Wilderness at Disney.com for September and November 2004, but the only offers I've been quoted thus far are for preferred sites. Are there very few non-preferred sites available at FW and should I think that they've mostly been reserved already for late 2004, or is it likely that Disney's website only offers up the preferred sites?

Will it be difficult for me to secure a non-preferred site at FW even 9-11 months in advance?

I'll try to explain how I got around it. When your suggested package comes up, there is an icon to click on for more details, I think, and if you click on it, you can alter individual choices, one being "view". That should let you chose a non-preferred. Now I haven't tried for campsites, but this might work.
Had to make it more complicated, didn't they?

Thanks so much for your help, DisneyMom5! I'm not wanting a package, just the accomodations only, but I'll look for the icon you mentioned.

As for making things more complicated (and I'm a "newbie" to boot--I don't need complications, LOL ), I've noticed an error or two on Disney's site (e.g. on a page with info about the Poly, at one point they have the prices for "garden view" and "lagoon view" switched around so that it shows the lagoon view to be cheaper than the garden view ) Hope they get that kind of misinformation fixed.

I just checked. Found it. Not sure how I missed that before (maybe the small print and "busyness" of the page...maybe just that I'm blind ).

Thanks again! I was a bit worried that I'd end up having to pay for a preferred site even though I won't have need for one.

Your welcome! I think the reason I found it was that I wasn't planning for a "real" trip, just playing around w/ the system.
