I am a DVC member who doesn't plan each vacation except spring break. We recently booked a 2 bedroom at SSR for a 10 day vacation (6/14-6/24) with a plan on taking DD 15 and her cousin 14. Now my mother is talking about how fun it would be to come with us to spend time as a family. We usually get a 2 bedroom for DH, DD and I so I am having a hard time thinking about adding 2 more people to the mix. I also don't think my mother will enjoy sharing a room with two teenage girls. I would love to get a THV but obviously I missed the initial call in period. Did everyone go crazy and reserve these immediately and I shoudn't bother calling?

Obvioulsy you should give it a shot. But based on what you've said (and 10 days), I'd maybe give you a 5% chance at best of getting THV. Give it a shot though, it can't hurt!
