My DS9 and I leave a week from Sunday for a week at Fort Wilderness. This will be a non park visit as the DW has made it clear we can't enter the Disney or Universal parks without her. Wondering some of your favorite other activities outside the fort.
Best GoKarts?
Best PuttPutt?
Thoughts about Wet N Wild?

I suggest Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach vs. Wet n Wild. We have annual passes for TL and BB every summer. We like the fact its CLEAN, you can bring in food and parking is FREE (no parking fees at the water parks).
There is so much to do and not go into the parks. We camp at the Ft. and hardly ever go into the parks.

I agree, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are awesome! As far as putt putt, we love winter summerland, it is right next to Blizzard Beach, they have 2 courses. Fantasia Gardens by Boardwalk is fun too. Have a fun trip!

Last trip we did no disney parks we did : aquatica, seaworld, DTD, we resort hopped for counter service meals and checking out gift shops - you could see Ye Ha Bob one night at POR.

Blizzard beach has an awesome kids area, not sure of the ages. You can swim with the sharks, bring in a picnic lunch if you wish. The mini golf is great. You can check out Disney Quest at DTD and see if she would like that. If those are considered Disney and out....

Check out Old-Town on 192 they have some sort of go kart place there. There are coupon books in the Walgreens on 192 that have coupons for a lot of the offsite mini-golf places, attractions, and restaurants. Never do anything offsite without a coupon LOL. This is a good place to start http://www.visitorlando.com/

Have a fabulous time.

There is a pirate golf place out the back entrance by DTD. DS and DH have done that one before and enjoy it (we also like the Disney ones). I love going to Celebration and just enjoying the lake, an ice cream and going in the few small shops.
