Non-Park Halloween Activities

I thought I saw a thread on this awhile ago but I can't seem to find it.

We don't plan on going to any parks on Halloween. We do have dinner reservations that evening (around 8:00 p.m.) at Whispering Canyon.

What are some fun non-park things we can do for Halloween (day or evening activities). Also, I'm wondering if the kids should wear their costumes to dinner that night etc.

We are doing the party on Nov. 1st so they will wear costumes the next night.

If you think or they want to I can't see any reason , not to let them. Only thing I thought last MNSSHP was 10-31-15.

We are going to the party on the 29th and then skipping the parks Halloween evening. From what I've read all the resorts will have Halloween activities if you're staying onsite. Also at Ft Wilderness apparently all the people in campers go all out on Halloween decorations and you can go trick or treating at all the campers. If you look up photos online it looks pretty awesome! They also have a few decorating contests and other activities throughout the day there, not sure if there's a schedule out for this year but you can look up last years schedule online.

Wow, great minds think alike. I'm also doing MNSSHP on the 29th. Also planning to wander and explore Ft. Wilderness as I'm going to HDDR that night as well. Sounds like FW will be the most Halloween-ish place besides MK on site.

Does any one know where to find daily activities for specific resorts? Like Contemporary or CBR?
We are also planning a down day with a visit to Chef Mickeys on Halloween

Good thinking! We are going to MK that day but leaving in the afternoon and then Artist Point for dinner. I'm really excited to see Ft Wilderness, it seems like like it will have a lot of fun Halloween stuff to check out.
