Non-park days

What do you do on days that you don't go to the parks? We are going for 5 days but I THINK that we are only going to get 4-day park hoppers. Some of the things I've thought of are hanging out at our hotel - hopefully it will be warm enough to go swimming, shopping at Downtown Disney. I'm looking for either Disney or non-Disney ideas?

When we go to WDW, we're up and out for early entry each morning. So, when we take off, we start by sleeping in. We usually schedule the day off after a late night -- when MK did e-nights, we often took a day off the next day. A day off is also a good time to go to Downtown Disney, take a long pool break or visit other resorts to eat, shop or just look. We've never done it, but you also can go to the petting zoo and outdoor movie at FW for free. Things that cost extra include the hayrides at FW, bikes at BW or POR, mini golf and water parks.
