Hello all;

Seasoned WDW goer and AP but in a new situation and seeking recommendations.

I have a short 3-night trip booked coming up. Staying at Caribbean Beach (1st time there). Arriving Sunday afternoon in advance of the rest of my group. Looking for a non-park spot for a nice, special, but still relaxed solo dinner on Sunday night before rope-dropping Monday. I enjoy not too-fancy foods but like a place with a view or special ambience, and think a nice steak would be great. Would like to see MK fireworks (or another evening show) from outside a park or etc. after or during a meal. if possible. Very interested in CA Grill, but available res times seem either too early (5:15pm) or later than I think I'd like to start a 2-hr meal before rope-dropping (9:15pm). Also considering Sebastian's Bistro (have heard good reviews, and am staying there), but also like the thought of perhaps Flying Fish, Topolino, Three Bridges, or even Geyser Point (followed by FW from Poly beach). Open to other ideas. Any thoughts? Thanks!

No way I could spread out a meal that long as a solo. Helps when there is convo happening. We went to Topolinos during Epcot fireworks time. Food was excellent and best service we have had on property in YEARS, even better than last few at Ca Grill (and that was before the set menu). We ordered all appetizers and desserts and everything was outstanding! We could see fireworks from our table.

Last summer we tried Sebastians and WOW was that a surprise. Food was very good and our server excellent. Smaller more intimate restaurant so felt much more special than a moderate location. Def would go there again.

Seconding the food at Sebastian’s being seriously worth the trek. Just wish they had oxtails on the menu the last time I went which was …2020? Maybe it’s made an appearance since then.
FF is one of my favorite resort restaurants and I’d have no problem eating there as a solo. You might be able to grab a seat overlooking the kitchen but I’m not sure if those seats are still available.

Geyser Point is the spot we generally eat at when we visit MK. Peaceful locale, beautiful surroundings with great drinks and of course food too.

I can’t speak about steaks at WDW since it’s not something I eat much of so opinion-less on who does it better.

Cannot say enough great things about Topolino and since you are staying at CBR it would be so easy to make your way there.

If you have never been to the Flying Fish and want an amazing steak this is your place. The charred NY Strip is the best steak we've ever had on property!

Jiko at AKL has a really nice steak with a great Mac n cheese. I ate there solo in May and they asked if I wanted to sit at chef prep bar . I don’t remember the official name for the area but you are right in front of the chefs prepping the appetizers and you can ask them questions.

Another option is to go to Disney Springs and watch the drone show. Multiple great places to eat there.

For reasonably priced steak that's actually very good quality I would head on over to Steakhouse 71. It's quickly become my new favorite for both breakfast and lunch/dinner.
