Non-MB tickets - how to get the plastic card for FPs

We've always used our MBs for park tickets and FPs, so I'm not sure of the answer to this question. I'm helping a friend plan her Disney trip. She purchased two-day tickets, and they are in her MDE account. She's already booked FPs on MDE. She's staying offsite and doesn't otherwise have a MB. What does she need to do to get the plastic card that she will swipe to use her FPs? I am guessing she just needs to go to Guest Services at the park, but just wanted to confirm. Also, does it have to be Guest Services, or can she go to any ticket window?

Thanks!

Either Guest Relations or a Park Ticket Window (whichever has the shortest line) can issue an Admission Card which will work for park entry & FP+.

Thanks! And one follow up question - what does she need to bring with her to claim her tickets? ID? Credit card? Email confirmation? The tickets are for her, her kids and her mother. She ordered all of the tickets, so does her mom also need to bring any kind of ID, or just my friend as the purchaser? Thanks!!

For regular (non FL Resident) MYW tickets, typically just a photo ID of the purchaser. If they can't find them by using her name, then they can use either the email confirmation number or CC number.

Amazing it didn't come by mail, they always used to

If she is staying off site, she'll get the hard plastic tickets in the mail, even though they are already linked in her MDE profile.

Not necessarily. Disney offers several delivery methods which they don't mail hard cards out for. If they happened to select will call, print-at-home or any other eTicket option Disney might have, they won't get cards in the mail.

How can you print a RFID ticket at home? If they selected will call, then yes, they will have to physically pick up the tickets, but that is obviously not the case in the OP. Having the ticket media is the only way they can get into the park and redeem fastpasses.
