Non-guests at movie or campfire?

Tried to search, but came up empty...

Our last stay was at POR, and we never found time to stop in at the movie or bonfire, and that’s disappointing. For this next trip, I’ve got reservations at Shades of Green (DH is mil) and CBR, don’t know which I’ll cancel yet, lol. One of the pros of on-site is the movie, etc, so I’m wondering, if we decide to stay at SOG (which is walking distance to the Poly), are the fire and movies a guest-only benefit, like the pools, or are they open, like the restaurants? I don’t want to crash if it’s not allowed.

Thanks!

There's no check point to access the movie watching at any Resort I've watched from. And we've watched a movie during our Poly stay. Every resort I know of shows their movies in an open area.

Same for camp fires and marshmallows. There is no checking for being a resort guest before they give out sticks and marshmallows. I know for a fact we had a few marshmallows at AK when we were not resort guests, since they do have it right there on the overlook to the main savanna.

During our last trip on my resort hopping day I went to Animal Kingdom Lodge and the CM's knew I wasn't a guest there and they made a special point of inviting me to go and get my daughter and enjoy all the activities at the hotel.
