Can you currently self park your car at Wilderness Lodge, Coronado and/or Riviera without a restaurant reservation?

Short answer - it depends, but most likely not.

Its really up to the guard at the entrance gate. You might do better at CSR. I suspect WL would be difficult because some people would try to park there for a MK day. Similar for Riviera and folks going to Epcot and DHS.

Highly unlikely you can.

Some resorts where we had dinner reservations in November, the guard scanned DH's Magic Band and asked for ID. Others simply asked for his MB to confirm our dining reservation and waved us on in. A couple of these asked where we were staying without requiring ID, which we concluded was a check to make sure we hadn't borrowed a MB or something

We were behind a car a couple times that the driver had an animated conversation with the guard and ended up doing a u-turn to leave. We figured they didn't have either a resort or dining reservation.

The days of entering a resort only to shop or look around are over, thanks to covid.

I stayed at OKW for Marathon Weekend last week and really missed my old fave WL. After I checked out on Monday, I drove over to WL just to have a walk around before I drove home. The guard checked my id and let me in. But this was mid-morning on a Monday in January. I tried to do the same thing once in mid-December and it was a hard "no." Now if I want to go there in December I take Disney transport from my resort or a park.

Well, taking your CAR to the resort. You can always take transportation to a resort and then look around, right? They haven't added any security to any resorts, have they?

Correct. You can take Disney transportation to any resort without problem.
