Hi All! This will be my first trip to WDW!

After going through some of the posts, it looks like WDW is one place that caters to those with food allergies... It is almost like I have more options there than going to a normal restaurant locally!

Are there recommendations for places to eat for me for breakfast, that I can find food that isn't fried, dairy-free and egg-free. I can process eggs that are baked into cakes, but I can't have eggs in it's whole form (scrambled eggs/benedict/custard). Is there places that have tofu scramble or the like? Do they do dairy-free Mickey waffles?

Also, where are the go-to places for character dining for those with these types of allergies?

Thanks so much!

Oh yes, they have allergy friendly Mickey waffles (they are gluten, dairy, soy, egg, and probably nut and corn free too). They are soooo good! I'm sort of obsessed with them...and by sort of I mean I order them at virtually every breakfast I eat at WDW! :lmao:

My favorite places to get them are: Kona Cafe, Ohana, and Kouzzina. For character breakfast, I really like Ohana and 1900 Park Fare (especially 1900 PF because all of your food is prepared in the back and separate from the buffet--they have really good bacon there too!). Tusker House is another one of my favs. The chefs there go above and beyond for food allergies! Chef Mickey's is also fun for breakfast (and they gave me a GF/DF cupcake for breakfast once, who doesn't want cupcakes for breakfast?!).

Hope that helps! WDW is amazing for food allergies and special diets! :thumbsup2

We are gluten-free only, but are also obsessed with the allergy friendly Mickey Waffles. I CRAVE them :rotfl:

ur favorite character meals are Ohana for breakfast and 1900 Park Fare for dinner. both of these locations have been amazing for our allergies. The chef's are super accomidating and you are never made to feel like a bother to them. Chef TJ at 1900 was incredible. He brought out a dessert like I have bever seen before. Everyone was asking where we got it , it made my children feel very special.

I'm not sure where you are styaing, but we have also had great luck at the Pop Food Court. We had things we hadn't had in years like stirfry and fried rice. SOOOOOOO good!

The allergy free chicken tenders at QS places are also very tasty. My daughter asks me why i can't make them like that at home :rotfl2:

I assume that by non-fried you mean non-deep-fried since a scramble would be fried in a frying pan.

I can't think of any tofu scrambles but my eggless kiddo likely wouldn't eat that anyway so I haven't asked (actually, maybe she would; she's developed quite the pallet and will try anything once).

Anyway, here's a bunch of pictures of milk and egg free breakfasts (they're free of other stuff too but you only asked about those two allergens).

Tusker House (you can't tell but in that coffee cup is rice milk; there were other options available but my kids didn't want them)

'Ohana (there was also a big platter of fruit and this plate's already picked over; it was originally loaded)

Captain's Grille (I'm including a couple plates with eggs on them because they show foods that my eggless kiddo didn't want; they were safe though)

Cape May Cafe (they had other fruits but my kids didn't want them and couldn't have a couple of them due to other allergeis)

Food courts at resorts all seem to have Mickey waffles with breakfast meats, real maple syrup and potatoes available.

Regarding the chicken tenders; I did find them available online but OMG are they expensive to order. They're almost $10 for a package that would be maybe 2 meals for one person and then you have to pay insane shipping costs because they're frozen.

I'd probably not do Akershus or CRT for breakfast as they serve frozen Van's waffles rather than Mickey waffles and their options are much more limitted in what they can make. They're fine for other meals but I've got them at the bottom of my list of breakfast options. We don't do a lot of TS breakfasts in general because we get pretty much the same things everywhere so I definitely like to choose places that have more rather than less options and definitely places that have Mickey waffles (I might try Crystal Palace some time despite the lack of Mickey waffles but I haven't done it yet; they do have more options than Akershus and CRT because they have much broader menus so more ingredients to work with).

I have an egg allergy that sounds just like yours. I'm not big on breakfast, so I can't help with that, but I can tell you that all the chefs are great and will work with you on your allergies! I just list it on my ressie and usually when we sit down (table service restaurants), the chef will come out and talk to me about my allergy. At the buffets (Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, etc), the chef will walk around the buffet with you and point out what is/isn't safe for you. Disney really is great working with all types of allergies!
