Non expiring US/IOA tickets?

I was lucky enough to purchase 2 park/7 day tickets for our upcoming trip through AAA at $99 plus tax (came to $105).

Does Universal offer a way to "upgrade" these tickets so that they won't expire (like Disney does). I don't believe we will use all 7 days on our trip, and I would hate to waste the days.

We haven't been to Universal in years so we're very excited to be going this year!:cool1:

No they don't...

Once you use the first day they will expire 6 days after.

I wish you could "bank" the days...

Although they will never expire until you use them once.

We have not been to Universal in 5 yrs, but I still have one day left on 3 tickets. At least, at the time we were told they did not expire. Which I see now the tickets you buy, you have to use up in 2 weeks. Has anyone tried to use old tickets, that were told they would not expire?

Also, we have relatives in Tampa who could buy us resident tics....Do we need to show residency at the gate, with these tics?

Thanks for any help or info!!!

Florida residents can buy tickets for non-residents. You don't need to show ID at the gate for those.

Your old tickets should be OK but Universal hasn't sold non-expiring tickets in a long time.

Only the FL resident would need to show ID when purchasing the tickets. The tickets can be purchased and given to anyone.
