Ok I have a question for all of you.... this is simply a clarification only, not wanting to start a thread regarding cheating, etc because I would never do that. However, I am considering purchasing 10 day non-expiring hoppers w/water park option for our next trip, knowing we may only go to the parks 1 or maybe 2 days, but will use the water park option. Question is, our son just turned 9, of course next year needing an adult ticket. If he uses the ticket when he's still 9, how long can he use that non-expiring ticket, until it is all used up? Just don't want to invest the money in case there is some rule I don't know about, but I know all of you will!

So please don't hijack my thread about what's right and what's wrong, I am only wondering what the rules are on non-expiring. We've never purchased those or annual passes before! I always just buy tickets according to what we need. Thanks so much!

If he uses it while he is 9 and then returns again after age 10 he can still use the pass since he began using it while he was the appropriate age for the ticket.

If you purchase it for him at age 9, but no days are used until he 10 or older, you will need to upgrade the pass to the adult rate. As long as he uses it while still 9 or under, he should be fine to complete it's use at an older age.

Enjoy! :)

I think I read somewhere that they will replace the child ticket with an adult ticket at no charge once he is 10+ (assuming it was used at least once as a child). They basically just swap the ticket out for whatever remaining days are left.

ok, don't want to sound like i don't know what is going on, but, what is the difference between the AP and the non-expiring? or is it the same thing?:confused3

AP is purchased yearly and good for only one year - there is also aPAP(premium annual pass) wich includes the water parks.

A no expiration date pass is a pass you buy for a set number of usage days - that the unsed days NEVER expire. You can add park hopping and water parks to these passes if you which.

Got it!:thumbsup2 Thanks.:)

It was years ago, but I once asked at Guest relations about this issue (child turning 12 with days left on his child ticket) They said not to worry about it, and to just use it. They did not exchange it for an adult pass. (I thought I would have to pay more to exchange it. I did not want a problem at the gate)

I was wondering about this too. I bought the 10 day non expiring tickets thinking that we were only going for five days. Now, we have decided to go for 6 or 7 so I want to save them and buy a 6 or 7 day pass. My son is 8 now, will be 9 when we go in the fall. So, I won't use the non expiring tickets until the following year when he will be 10. I guess I will have to pay to upgrade his at the time because they will be unused.....
