Non Expiring Tickets purchashed for a Child

Thanks for all the responses. We will use the used ticket and get it upgraded free as I understand I can do. My concern is that we have 9 days left and are going to use only 5 and I am thinking once it's up graded it will be converted to regular ticket and I will loose what's not used after 14 days. But it is what it is. I am not going to anything with the other one at this time. Just for the record and not that anyone really cares one way or the other but we aren't and won't try to beat system. Just trying to figure this out and I really appreciate all the responses.

Has anyone gotten a refund for non-expiring tickets? After booking our trip and getting on MDE we discovered that through an error our travel agent made in 2013, our daughter has an extra 6 day ticket that we double purchased. The CL CM I spoke with said that we have to take care of this at guest services.

We are at EPCOT now and the Guest Services CM is extremely helpful. He gave us the value ($310) of my DDs unused ticket on a Disney gift card.
