I vist Disney about every other year with my wheelchair.
This year, I would like to spend at least a few days off-site. Now that there are far more wheelchair taxis in & around Disney, I thought I might venture offsite.
Some ideas:-
Seaworld with Mears wheelchair shuttle
Kennedy Space Center (are coaches wheelchair accessible?)
Shopping (I assume plenty of shoping centres close enough for taxi - or Lynx 111)
Eating Offsite (are there any upmarket restaurants within taxi distance? or restaurants offering food not available onsite)
Alligator World (is this within taxi distance?)
Cypress Gardens (is this worth it? - would taxi cost a fortune?) I remember Cypress Gardens from a pre-wheelchair visit 20 years ago - will it have changed much?
Any other suggestions (other than Universal - very wheelchair unfriendly)
