I'm hoping to take my non Disney loving DH on a Disney cruise in 2020. I've looked at past navigators and have pretty much mapped out where we'll spend most of our time. The quoted above is my reasoning behind it, well that and I AM a mickey fan and really want to go myself. Our kids have "aged out" of Disney and if we were to spend the $$ for all 4 of us to go then I'd choose a different cruise line.
Our kids never seemed to "age out"....even though they were not so into the characters they loved the cruise experience on DCL (and would even pose for pics). They are now in their 30's and still love cruising DCL. They actually enjoyed it all through their teen years and younger adult years. They started cruising with us 20 years ago on DCL and now have their own children they are bringing onboard. We are all cruising next month on the Magic and can't wait to have our grandkids onboard.
