Non-Disney Hotel/Transportation Package

Hello, this is our first cruise and although, I currently have a hotel/transportation package booked, the hotel we are at doesn't have many restaurants within walking distance. We decided to change our flights to allow one extra day of travel time, so we will be at the hotel, without a car for one full day. Anyone have any experience with nearby MCO hotels and/or non-Disney transportation to Port Canaveral for the cruise?
