me: sitting quietly at my 'puter enjoying our snow day, reading Buzz's wonderful thread on his stay at CSR, and clicking on the pictures :surfweb: ...

dh: walks behind me :tiptoe: (I hate when he does that when i'm on the Dis)... asks "what's that a picture of??????

me: "ummmm.... nothing."

dh: "no really, what is that? why are you looking at that???"

me: "well... it's the new alarm clocks at CSR... that someone... took... a... picture... of..."

dh: (silence)... looks at me... walks away shaking head...

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My DH is just like yours! He comes up and says, "What are you looking at?" I say, "Disney stuff". Then he does the same head-shaking thing! :lmao:

He can't believe that men even post on here, and resorts having "fans" sends him over the edge! I'm lucky I talked him into going-he likes WDW, but not to the extent that some of us do!

My dh IS a Disney person and did the same thing to me when I was looking at the new mattress cover for CSR. I think he thinks I'm crazy. :lmao:

I just had the same thing happen last night... BF walked by, asked what I was looking at... When I told him, he looked at me with his eye brows raised, and very seriously asked me if I was becoming a Disney Addict ... LOL

My husband just asks when walking past the computer(with slight disgust) "What Disney crap are you looking at now" :rolleyes1

When i'm the computer my DH asks what r u looking at... he already knows what the Disboard looks like and he rolls his eyes and walks away... men...

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Our husbands must be brothers separated at birth! I get the same thing, along with the dramatic eye rolling..then in the next breath he'll say "has anyone put up pictures of the food at such and such restaurant yet?" Then, much to MY annoyance, he grabs a chair puts on his computer glasses and I have to show him pictures of food porn. The other thing he'll say is "what has Buzz said today" :lmao: Buzz has become a household name around here and we aren't talking about bees!:rotfl:

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one whose DH does that. Being the mom of a 2 y/o, I also frequent a baby-type discussion forum and it just drives him nuts!

I love all the info we've been getting from Buzz.. except the pool news he gave us yesterday:headache: I'd actually really rather not know that the slide and playground at CSR are going to be closed 1/2 of our vacation, kwim?

I (DH) am the the Disney Nut and Disboards Fan in our house, although my wife is a big Disney fan and reads the boards occasionally to confirm I am not making some of this stuff up!

too funny. I know just what you mean.

My husband knows I'm an addict! :surfweb:
He'll say things like, "You're on those boards again?" :rotfl2:

The funniest thing ever though....I also use TGM and when we were in the parks Christmas 2006, I was constantly saying things like, Mike said to this or Mike said to do that...and finally he says out of nowhere..."Are you having an affair with Tour Guide Mike? You talk about him a lot." :rotfl2:

I totally know what you gals are talking about!:rotfl:

I'm having a horrible time trying to choose which moderate to stay at. I was checking out Buzz's CSR site again today, and a few others, and although I think the resort, buildings, pool area and slide, and landscaping all look beautiful, I have to say that I think the room decor is kinda ugly.:rolleyes1 I was mentioning this to my DH, and he proceeds to say, "Good grief, who cares what the room decor looks like?! Quit looking at all that DisBoard crap all the time. You're going to drive yourself nuts!"

I didn't say anything back to him, but I was thinking, "Yeah, well you'd care buddy boy if the room decor was pink, florals and ruffles."

Yeah...it's so funny...my husband gives me so much crap about my obsessive Disney planning. However, when we actually get there he is the one with his mickey ears on the whole time smiling ear to ear and having the time of his life. (Thanks to my Hours upon Hours of Planning, reading and researching.

That's funny! :rotfl:

DH used to be like that, but I knew he was converted when we were at Coral Reef. They brought out our desserts - gorgeous! - and DH says, "Wow. You gonna get a picture of these for the disboards?"

**sigh** It's just like spreading a cold . . . :)

Its funny because we latch onto anything new at WDW, even an alarm clock. But I understand the weirdness of it, because why should we even care that they have new alarm clocks, like its going to make or break our resort stay, and secondly, we shouldn't even know a thing like Disney installed new alarm clocks!!

But I am one of you and Im thankful I've been updated on the alarm clock situation. :thumbsup2

Oh yes, too familiar. My DH will roll his eyes :rolleyes2 when he sees me on the DIS looking at pictures of resort rooms, pools, etc. I just smile sweetly at him and remind myself that this is the same guy who will be on eBay for hours, looking at old fishing reels. :confused3
