Tried to do a search but wanted updated info since Covid has changed so much.

Are there any beach passes available besides the DCL excursions? We would like to get off the ship and go to a beach but we don't want to stay until lunch. We are all vaccinated.

When I searched I found a Hilton or even the Atlantis day passes, so maybe that is what I need? Just not sure I can still book those.

Thanks!

We did a day pass to the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau several years ago and enjoyed the beach and pool. Unfortunately, that hotel closed its doors this past February.

We booked through Resort for a Day and they might have some other resort beach options available in Nassau.

We're doing a resort day pass at the Margaritaville Resort in Nassau for our cruise this Monday. A lot cheaper than Atlantis, just a 15 min walk from the port (vs a taxi), and you get access to their beach as well as their waterpark, adult only section, pools, etc. Check it out.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much for sharing!!

I checked with them to find some options, thank you so much for posting this!

Do we need to book this day pass in advance or can we walk up? Any Covid restrictions?

Oh man I didn't realize they closed. I almost booked a day pass there back in Jan/Feb for our May cruise, I guess I'm glad I decided to wait until we got closer.

How do you get the day pass for Margaritaville? I went to their website but couldn't figure it out.

I know you can't take an unvaccinated toddler ashore in Nassau without an excursion, but could we do the Margaritaville thing with him? Or would that not count?

Currently, except at Castaway Cay, he’ll need to be on a DCL excursion (booked via DCL) and you will need to get on and off the ship with the group. No diversions. Of course, policy is subject to change.

No. A day pass to anywhere is NOT a DCL excursion. Therefore anyone unvaccinated canNOT do that. Even if you managed to get the kid off the ship, I'd expect to be met back at the ship with your bags ashore and you on your own to get back home. That is what has happened with other cruiselines all over the world where a bubble was required and people left the bubble.
