We went a year ago. I am in the process of planning my next trip (see ticker:yay:). I am obsessing on the plans on the trip even though I want to "go with the flow" so I decided I need to find another outlet for my Disney obession which is to finally scrapbook our last trip. My idea of organizing photos is put them in one box instead of several. :rotfl:

When we were on our last trip I did purchase a really nice scrapbook with high expectations. I have the book. I purchased glue yesterday. I am still waiting for more pictures to come in. I have already started to sort the pictures I have developed. I will not be doing anything fancy other than cutting down some of the photos.

My questions are:

1. Do you lay out the entire scrapbook and then start to glue or do you just do a page at a time and hope for the best?

2. The scrapbook I bought has a clear cover and one page of paper inside each cover. Can I glue photos on both sides or is best to do just one side and purchas extra paper and put them back to back?

I think that is all for now as my pictures finally finished downloading on the Wal-Mart site.

I usually do a two page layout so that the pages facing each other go together, but there are no rules about it so you can do it however you want. I don't plan out the whole book, I work on one event at a time. I don't use the paper that comes in the page protectors, as it's usually pretty thin. I use paper or cardstock that I buy separately and I only use one side of it. Two pieces will fit back to back in the page protector.

Thanks, looks like I need to make another Hobby Lobby run.

When I start on a trip, I sort the entire batch of pictures by park, or however I'm going to scrap them. Sometimes it's by day, sometimes by park; there's no right or wrong way, but I'm not organized so I have to start somewhere!

After they're sorted, I go through them and weed out the ones I know I won't use (blurry, or whatever), and put them in order of ride or attration, parade, etc. I just do one "event" at a time. I usually do a 2-page layout if I can, but even if it's a 1-page, I glue it down before I start on the next one.

Hope this helps, if you have more questions, ask away!

Have you had a chance to look at the different layouts posted by people here? That might help you get started on your project.

I don't use the white separator paper either - it's way too thin and won't hold up as you glue pictures down.

I don't use it for the background either but it's great for making mats and shapes :-) cheaper than buying one of those paper packs of plain white paper!
