Non-Character Buffets

My DD loves buffets but is over character meals. What are some non-character buffets that you would recommend. Can be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Thanks!

Definitely not Trails End. Disgusting dinner (cant speak for the other meals)

Boma breakfast is one of my favorites, if not my favorite.

Beirgarten (Epcot Germany) is pretty good for dinner Different than anything I can get at home.

100% Boma any time and our family fav is Cape May supper buffet. Also we do like Trails End Buffet though it is time consuming to get to.

Dinner at Trail's End (fried chicken!!), dinner at Cape May Cafe (great food selection and has decent seafood choices), and both breakfast/dinner at Boma (some unique dishes along with buffet regulars).

Both dinner & breakfast at Boma and Trail's End are great! I highly recommend them both. Trail's End does a nice brunch on the weekends, too.

The Wave at the Contemporary also has a really nice breakfast buffet.

Also at the Contemporary, and only partially a buffet, the new "Brunch at the Top" at the California Grill looks wonderful if you're looking for something a bit more upscale.

I can't stand the smell of Cape May & it reminds me of Red Lobster. (Red Lobster is a joke where I live. I realize it's the only game in town elsewhere, so if you're into it, that's okay too!)

We love Cape May (for dinner and breakfast, but breakfast has characters and dinner does not).

Roma's breakfast and Biergarten lunch. Cape May Cafe dinner is pretty good, and no characters at dinner.

I love love love the breakfast buffet at the Wave. Lovely place, yummy food. I love the new touches of bringing the butters and jam to your table and the individual glasses of fruits, yogurts, etc on the buffet.

I was there on Feb 7 and did I say I LOVED it? Especially the sweet potato pancakes with honey pecan butter and the grits with Tillamook cheddar cheese and bacon (and I'm not even a grits fan).

I also love the Wave for lunch and dinner, but those are not buffets.

We've only just found out about this, and may be staying at BC again this year so I'll definitely be giving it a try. I've read great reviews too. Then we can walk to Epcot or HS afterwards.

The Wave is another I've wanted to try for a while as well, it looks like a good choice of food and then we can walk to MK afterwards.

The new touches you mentioned are the things we dislike. Last trip we had gotten the sweet potato pancakes ( we agree on that and the grits LOL) but had to wait for the butter to show up and it was a small portion. Like a small cookie scoop. And the glasses of fruits.......we just wanted some strawberries, not 12 peices of melons with one strawberry and three blueberries. I saw on the buffet a glass that was abandoned after the person ate the fruit on top and left the melon. We were there in Nov. Maybe things have changed between our trip and your's.

We really like Trails End. It's a great way to get a break from the MK without spending a ton of time. Food is just good home style cooking. Simple but yummy. Prince is better than most TS .

You can still book character buffets and not have to interact with the characters. They are good at knowing who wants them to stop at their and who doesn't.
