DD18 and I are headed to WDW in May, staying at Poly. I’d like to try a new breakfast on our last day since we have until about 9am until we leave for the airport. We usually travel with younger kids and have done almost every character breakfast. We have done GFC in the past, which I loved! Should we just head there again or try something new? Kona, Steakhouse 71? (I haven’t decided if we will rent a car yet so non monorail options might work too). GFC and Boma are the only non character breakfast we have tried.

I wouldn't stray too far from Poly if you have to leave for the airport at 9am unless you have a car that you are driving to the airport

We enjoy Boma and GFC for breakfast. I like GFC because they offer more than just the traditional breakfast foods.

Agree with Boma! we also like Cape May Cafe. last time we were there - no characters. They may have brought them back now.

Have you tried Topolino’s breakfast? Yes, I know it’s a character meal. However, the atmosphere is really nice and feels more adult. The food is one of the best breakfasts on property (IMHO). We have tried them all as well. Plus, you can walk out on to the terrace afterwards and take in the views before you leave. Always a nice end to a vacation.

Otherwise, I would try Steakhouse 71.

I absolutely loved Steaakhouse 71 when we went for breakfast. It’d be so easy for you to get there!

ETA: If you go there and they’re serving brunch, I highly recommend the Bacon & Eggs appetizer. It’s incredible

Whispering Canyon, hands down (if you have a car or using rideshare - with Disney transportation you'd be cutting it too close). The server antics are almost as rowdy as at dinner, and they serve a unified breakfast/lunch menu (burgers, pulled pork, oatmeal, omelets) as well as the AYCTE skillets.

I had a solo breakfast there my last day in December, later around 11 AM. Loved the skillet, because I was a solo they put me in a quieter room, which I appreciated! Enjoyed the breakfast and walking around the WL to see the holiday decorations.
