Non Cash Payment Question

Has anyone used the re"fillable" gift cards that Disney offers? We are going in March and bringing some very dear friends as our guests. We don't want to be using cash or traveler's checks in front of them, as I'm afraid they might be put off at just how expensive the House of Mouse can be. We thought of using the gift card we heard about. Anyone opinions? Can you pay for snacks from the carts with the cards? Where can we purchase the cards? Where do we have to go if we need to put more money on them? And do you think we would just be better off to be charging to our room key and paying it off each day at the resort?

Sorry for so many questions. I usually like to think I know most of the answers, but I can't seem to get my arms around this and would certainly appreciate any help.

BTW, a very Happy Turkey Day to everyone!

This is obviously the easiest, no guessing how much to put on the card, keeping track of spending and refilling. Not sure why you would pay this daily though. I would just go down the last night and square away and request no bill under the door, if you are worried they will "peek". The room key charge can be used in 99% of the places including most carts

Enjoy
