We have reservations for Kona next week. Those of you who loved the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes...is the pineapple syrupy sweet canned kind of pineapple, or is it a sauce/compote made from fresh pineapple. Just wondering.
I'm not a fan of the fruit topped pancakes in restaurants like IHOP. They use canned pie filling type of stuff...makes me gag.

Hoping Kona's is not like this!
