Any suggestions? Looking for simple breakfast items at table service restaurant with visiting friends who don’t have park passes. We prefer oatmeal, bagels, bacon, eggs etc. - nothing real exotic as some of our group have food intolerances. In addition to posting I plan to check menus but appreciate
Thanks for any suggestions.

I have eaten at Fresh Mediterranean at the Dolphin. I ordered an omelette ala Carte and it was good. It meets your criteria. We also like Picabu, also at the Dolphin. It’s not table service, more cafeteria style but I liked the Omelettes there too.

On the boardwalk there is Trattoria al Forno. It normally is a character breakfast with delicious food but you can walk in and ask to eat breakfast without characters. The meal starts with muffins and danish brought to the table family style but you then order your own meal. We really enjoyed our meal there. We ate with the characters but were told that you can eat without them. We will be eating there again on our next trip.

BoardWalk bakery is not table service but there is an eating area outside of the bakery. You can sit on the boardwalk and people watch. They have a good selection of pastries and sandiwches.

I just ate at Ale & Compass.. I was impressed with the offerings and the food came out fast. The espresso cream for the waffles was delicious! You can order an entree OR order an entree and help yourself to the small buffet (bagels, fruit, biscuits) for $23.

Heard some good reviews of this place but didn't get to try it out on our last trip. Will have to make a point to try it out next time. We did get to eat at the refurbished Beaches and Cream and had a great time.

My suggestion (since you like simple items) is to do the quick service at riviera. You can take the skyliner there and the quick service breakfast is really good.

Another vote for Ale & Compass. The buffet (really just sides like fruit, pastries, charcuterie, cheese, etc.) is well worth it if you want coffee and juice and a side along with your entrée. It's worth it for the Parker House rolls alone! I would recommend a reservation. For whatever reason, they're often turning people away despite open tables (perhaps staffing).

Many thanks for all the ideas! Ale & Compass won out this time for a couple reasons - we’re staying at BCV, the weather is supposed to be rainy, “Parker House rolls“!
I‘m eager to try some of the other suggested places this trip, too, after our friends go home. LOL.

Primo Piatto is one of our favorites. The polenta in the Primo Piatto breakfast is creamy and rich. Ate that dish a few times while there.
