Non-AP Ticket Holders and New Park Reservations System-INFO POST #76

You can make as long as your reservation and tickets are linked to MDE. The email is not needed.

Good deal. Yes, the reservation and tickets are linked. And that is certainly more reassuring than the chat I just had with a CM ...

We are staying at Boardwalk Villas and already have park tickets
Corrina at 21:31, Jun 20:
Regrettably, I would be unable to confirm as the systems are not yet live. I do apologize.
You at 21:32, Jun 20:
I'm not sure I understand. What I am asking is, since I have a reservation at Boardwalk Villas, and I already have park tickets, wouldn't I be part of the initial registration?
Corrina at 21:32, Jun 20:
Regrettably, we cannot confirm any information at this time as the system is not yet live. I'm really sorry about that.
You at 21:32, Jun 20:
This is what it says on the website -
You at 21:33, Jun 20:
"Beginning June 22, 2020, Disney Resort and other select hotel Guests with valid theme park admission can make reservations."
You at 21:33, Jun 20:
are you saying this is not true?
You at 21:33, Jun 20:
Should I call in to ask instead?
Corrina at 21:33, Jun 20:
While we are able to confirm that our Official Walt Disney World® Website is accurate in information, we cannot confirm with reservation by reservation. We ask that our Guests keep an eye on our Official Walt Disney World® Website for updates and advisories.
You at 21:34, Jun 20:
Can you confirm that my reservation falls into the category of "Disney Resort and other select hotel Guests with valid theme park admission can make reservations."
Corrina at 21:35, Jun 20:
I cannot, as that would be our policy at this time. We are unable to confirm any information at this time as the system is not yet live.

My head is spinning. That is awful! Maybe they got an update to stop telling people things that were wrong. We have heard too many different answers to the same question

IMO, all 2020 reservations will get to book Monday and most likely, so will all of 2021 though September.

This is pretty much how my chat earlier went. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. It’s maddening!

Thank you for posting this. I haven't received this email ... weird. How long ago did you receive this?

Have other people who have DVC reservations and linked tickets also received this email?
Others have responded, but my answer is pretty much the same. The email came on Friday. You are most likely fine as long as My Disney Experience has both your resort reservation and the tickets for your party members linked. Disney IT is notoriously inefficient about getting emails to all the right people at the right time.

I also did not get an email and have tickets/reservations in October. I went to My Disney Experience and it says that
the online tool is coming soon. I'm very confused. Will the tool show up tomorrow?

Does anyone know for certain whether Dolphin & Swan count as an “other select partner hotel”? We have reservations at the Swan and also park tickets but have not gotten the email yet about selecting park passes. Thank you!
Yes, Swan and Dolphin qualify to make reservations tomorrow. I just got off the phone with Disney and they checked my account, which is with a Dolphin reservation, and said that I am good to go for tomorrow.

Excuse my ignorance, but we had to buy my son a ticket and did so through Undercover Tourist. It is a Hopper pass, purchased and linked to MDE. To change that ticket to non-hopper and get refunded the difference, would that need to come from Undercover Tourist? Disney? Out of luck?

UT would be the one to contact since you bought it through them

Just wanted to share my experience with calling to cancel the park hopper portion of my tickets and adding an extra day to my tickets. I was told that if I modified the tickets to add the extra day the tickets would only be valid for the dates of my stay. The previous extension to 9/26/2021 would be revoked. So, if we don't go for our trip in August, my tickets will not be extended, but I will still have credit for the amount I paid towards new tickets.

I have two questions, and I apologize if these have been answered already.

1. Any word/guesses on what time tomorrow morning this frenzy will begin?

2. Once our park reservations are set, will we be able to reserve dining if we're within our 180 days? I should have been able to reserve dining today, but it only shows dates available through August. Or has there been another change regarding dining reservations that I'm unaware of?

Thanks and good luck to everyone who will be making park reservations tomorrow!

1. 7am
2. Dining has gone down to 60 days, they have not mentioned if dining will be available starting tomorrow
You should try and go through all the pages of the "learn about the phased opening" tab on MDE, at the bottom they have a link to each specific topic, dining, hotels, ap...

Thank you so much! I'll go check that out.

Are you trying it on your phone or your computer? From what I've read, you will only be able to do reservations from your computer but later can do modifications on the app.

Well I have always assumed it referred to a body of water impeding progress. Have never heard of a different interpretation.
