we are seriously looking at purchasing some DVC points direct from Disney. Does any one know if you can get finance options if you don’t live in America? Also we would need to have our first batch of points by June to bank for our July 2019 trip. How long does the whole process take to sign up to? especially since we are based overseas. We could possibly sign up in June in Hawaii but it would probably be cutting it to fine if it still takes time even after doing it in person.

My regular questions are can you still book your ADRs 180+10 with DVC bookings at Disney World and see everything in your MDE?

I not sure if DVC will provide financing to non-US citizens. Also, I believe that most non-US citizens must purchase while physically at a DVC sales center.

Yes. DVC reservations are also eligible for the 60 day advance FP+ booking window as long as you have park admission linked to MDE.

you'd get a lot better deal if you bought resale & got a low interest loan. You pay a lot more per point direct & then have a higher interest rate.

DVC provide financing to certain countries. UK is one. You have to be there in person to do it. It is extremely expensive and not representative of the zero risk Disney have on default as they control the units.
I personally wouldn't recommend buying a luxury timeshare on finance, but you didn't ask that, so I'd say get a loan locally and buy resale.

Well after some more research it seems like we can’t even buy it since we don’t live in a jurisdiction where Disney is registered. It appears they can’t even email or talk to us about DVC. Guess I will be renting points instead

You can always buy resale.

You could buy it there but buying resale (which you should probably do anyway) there are no restrictions.
