My son and his friends are 18 - 20 and are planning a Non Alcoholic New Years Eve Party..

Besides the normal, Piggys in a blanket or Chips & Dip, what would you serve?

Fondue!

At least chocolate fondue, but maybe also cheese fondue - either the traditional Swiss cheese type or maybe one that is cheddar based. You could do all kinds of dippers - bread cubes, apples, etc.

Hmmm... We have never done a Fondue.. I'd be afraid to see what a mess I will find when I get home though..

How about for dessert, a make your own ice cream sundae bar. Buy a few different flavors of ice cream, bananas, pineapple, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, nuts, crushed Oreo cookies, etc. We have this at my work Christmas party and it is always a hit!!!

That sounds like alot of fun...

I know my son's GF is baking CupCakes, cause DS says she makes "the Best" ones ever.. Her sister will make Brownies..

We are having:

Ginger Shrimp

Pickles wrapped in cream cheese and ham, then sliced.

Gyoza

A layered dip I read about on here that has been a huge hit this holdiday season. Mix cream cheese and feta (I used fat free). Spread on a plate. Spread a jar of basil pesto on top. Sprinkle pine nuts on top, arrange ahvled grape tomaotes on the top and drizzle with Balsamic vinegar. Serve with Baguette slices.

and 2 Boxes of mixed Icecream treats
