any suggestions??? we are not sure how the baby will react to the trip so we are doing minimal ADR (wonderland tea, chef mickey dinner, hoop de do dinner AND 1900 dinner ... thats IT fot 10 days)
Now i am sweating the decision b/c i don't know where to take them!!
we will be at shades of green - so no dining plan - but a decent buffet to fill in the gaps ....
HELP

Yikes. The week after Easter? And 10 days w/out ADRs. I'm anal so I think I'd call and maybe try to get SOMETHING.

Summermac is absolutely right...at this point you will be fortunate if you can land anything at all at a decent time. CALL RIGHT NOW!!!

Good luck and please let us know how it goes..

The buffet breakfast at Shades of Green is a real good value. You can fill up each morning for breakfast, have a light snack around midday and then do an early CS dinner around 4:00 to avoid the lines. Then you can have another snack in the evening as well. I think you'll be just fine. There are plenty of food choices that aren't table service. If you really want a table service, there is the Italian place at SOG as well.
Have a great trip!

So, I was feeling the same way you are about not making a bunch of ADR's for our trip. We are going the week before you...April 4-11th and I decided I needed to make a few reservations, just in case. I called this morning and was able to get everything I wanted at a decent time. I was pretty shocked that they had the availability. Hopefully this will make you feel better if you do decide to add more. Always nice to have them in place because you can always cancel them, even the day of. If you end up doing CS try to avoid your typical lunch times...either go early or later. We like to eat a light snack early in the am at the room and then do a late breakfast at Seasons at EP and I just saw that Pizzafari serves breakfast too so it would work at AK and both are CS so no ADR's needed and it serves as our lunch too. Have fun!;)

And I forgot another thing that we did in Feb and Dec. We would secure a spot for Spectro say around 7:15 in Liberty Square and one of us would go get food from Columbia Harbor House and bring it back. We'd eat while waiting for the parade to come. Kept kids entertained and we had a great spot for viewing. We always managed to finish eating and return the trays before the parade made it to us.
