For those of you who have experienced this before, how long of a wait will there be for places that don't take ADR's - like Big River Grille and ESPN - during Free Dining? If we go for a late dinner (maybe 8ish) will be we be waiting forever?:rolleyes1 I'd like to go to ESPN, but I don't want to wait for three days to eat!

From my time spent at disney the last 3 years during free dining I would say go to the non-adr places to eat. I try only eat out of the parks.. and I would say the 6pm dinner at ESPN was one of the best meals I had last trip, got right in no wait and the food and service was great, and I'm not a sports fan.. Now if your asking for 8pm becasue thats when the park closes there might be a flood of people and I don't know if theres a wait... I always try to eat my dinner early so I don't go to sleep full and then wake up and not want breakfast because of being full.....

We go to ESPN Club every trip and have never had a problem. I would say the only time you might have a problem getting in there would be on Sunday's due to football. We are Dallas Cowboys fans, my DH and DBIL being the biggest of all, and the Sunday we are there the Cowboys are playing Green Bay for the Sunday night game, so we are going to try and get in to ESPN Club for the game, we'll see how that goes!

I would go further than that and say stick to the restaurants that don't even accept the dining plan - unless you yourself are on the dining plan.
