Nomad lounge for dinner?

im thinking about trying Nomad lounge for dinner. 2 adults plus 3 kids aged 11-15. Anyone tried this? Is it relatively easy to get seats for a party this size? We would share a bunch of apps based on the menu I saw. I think my kids would like this better than Tiffins. I get frustrated paying for $35 for an entree that a teen doesn’t eat.

I like this idea...I'd think it would likely work...I may try it myself!

We sat in the Nomad Lounge (outside) and pretty much made a meal out of appetizers for a late afternoon/early evening dinner. Bread service, charcuterie platter, pea fritters (I think that's what they were), something else I don't recall and a couple of drinks (non-alcoholic for my friend but very flavourful and with a bit of spice - very strong ginger). We liked it so much that when DH and I went to Tiffin's a few days later for dinner I ended up ordering 2-3 appetizers instead of an entree. There were far too many appetizers that sounded good that I didn't want to pass them up to order just one thing as I would have with an entree.

We've been there at least 4 times and have always found a table. We just went there for a late lunch the week before Christmas. AK was packed and we walked in and could have had our choice of tables (I think the fact that they don't take DDP makes a difference in terms of table availability). It was SO nice. Very relaxed, comfortable. We ordered almost everything off the app menu and we could have ordered off the Tiffins menu if we had wanted to. It's our favorite "restaurant" in AK!

If you go at off hours (11am, 3pm, 8/9pm, etc.) you'll have a better chance of getting a seat. Kids are also allowed to sit at the bar.

We eat lunch here when we go to AK. No problem getting a seat if we arrive before 12pm.

YES! So much better than Tiffins and certainly better atmosphere. We won't go back to Tiffins anymore, just Nomad & the lounge food.

This sounds great. Thanks for the feedback. We are targeting dinner time during the week after Easter (our spring break) when the parks are packed. So I am not sure about getting a table but it’s definitely worth a shot.
