"Noise Machine" for sleeping

This may be a strange question: I sleep with an "soft sound" noise machine (the kind that makes rain/water noises) that plugs into an outlet. Am I allowed to bring it on board and use it in the room?

If not, I need to load an ipod with the same sounds, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I don't see why not, as long as it's not a fire hazard. I use a CPAP machine at night and I can't imagine that there would be a big difference between that and your white noise machine. Keep in mind that if you want it next to the bed, that you will need to bring an extension cord, as there are no outlets by the bed on the Magic and Wonder. You'll need about a 6 footer to reach the outlets by the TV.

ETA: I just saw your signature that you are going on the Dream. I believe that there are outlets by the beds on the Dream.

We use one of these to creat our "verandah simulation area" for an inside cabin!. (along with a 4 inch fan)

Turn the TV to the bridge camera, turn on the fan, and put the sound machine on ocean surf.

I use this at home because my alarm clock has an ipod dock. The Dream also has an ipod dock, so for the sake of packing less if you are already bringing an ipod maybe you can download one? they have quite a few, and they don't cost too much. I even like listening to to them when I travel to relax, so it may be worth the $

On the Magic last summer i brought my travel ipod dock (battery powered) but they have electrical outlets on the desks which are right in front of the beds so it shouldn't be a problem if you want to bring your machine.

I took one on the Wonder in February. I also took an extension cord so I could have the machine next to my bed instead of 1/2 way across the room by the outlets.

I brought one. I like the rainfall at night. No prob.

I brought a 9 inch fan with me so I'm sure this will be no problem. There is an outlet next to the bed on the Dream but I had to unplug the alarm clock (which didn't work) to use it.
