Noise Level Lock Offs

I had loud neighbor at CCV last month but it was a handicapped person making a moaning/whining noise so I just ignored it. (As someone who lives with a similar situation, I felt bad for the parents and what they were obviously going through; I had it easy just hearing the noise next door, trust me on that!!) It was considerably louder than anything I've heard from a neighbor at BCV, our usual home, but that could be due to the BCV connecting door often (not always) being at the entrance instead of the back of the living room.

Surprisingly, the stuffed towel-under-the-door trick definitely works to absorb some of the decibels! I've used it at many hotels in my career and it always helps.

First timer here. Just got back from split stay in studios at BLT and BWV. Yep, I could hear the neighbors at BWV and I don't think they were being loud. I didn't hear any noise at BLT. I noticed it mostly when the room was quiet once my daughter was sleeping.

I feel worse for them as my situation in the mornings were the same as the above poster. My daughter is nonverbal makes the loud vocalizations. I didn't think of putting towels or pillows at the door. Good tip.

We had a terrible experience with our lock off neighbors at OKW. They partied all night and then our A/C went out. Maintenance Needed to get in their side to check something and they couldn’t wake them up. They ended up giving us back our points and comping us a free night for the future because it was late in the evening before they could get in there.

I take ear plugs and try to muffle the door. I found one year there was a little girl that brought a tricycle with a bell. She obviously did not sleep and the parents let her ride and run into the wall and door. We did not say anything until late night, think 1-2am and we made calls to the front desk. It did not stop and her family would laugh when she did it. So we demanded new rooms. You can not enjoy the parks if no one sleeps.
