We are first time cruisers going out of CA next May and wondering what the noise level is for room 2626 which is listed as one of the "noisy" rooms on that one site (dave's?)...what is the noise as none of the others around it are listed as noisy (rest of noisy ones are listed in groups).
We have family next door (could not get connecting Cat9) and wondering if we should ask to move elsewhere while we still have time.

TIA

Just got off the magic on 7/17/04 we stayed in 2626, in laws in 2628, and cousins in 2630. Noise was not a problem with 2626 the luggage is brought on and off the ship directly below 2628 but the only noise that we heard was on the final night as they were gathering the luggage below. I paid special attention to the use of the hatches on the ship, the one below 2628 was not opened at any of the stops on the eastern Carribean cruise. I would consider this room one of the quieter rooms since there are no rooms above or below and rocking is less noticeable the further down you go. There are prep and crew areas above and below but these are rarely used. The most noise that we heard on this ship was from stateroom 2624 which was next to us, I would imagine you could have this problem in any room.
