Noise from DCA for PPH parkview room

How noisy will it be for a room overlooking DCA especially during Grad Nites? It would be great to overlook the park, see WOC from room, but I'm worried about being kept awake from noise from teenagers until 2am. How sound proof are those rooms? Thanks.

We were in PPH on the 12th floor, overlooking the parks, during 2 grad nights. We could here WOC, but I never heard anything else. You'll be fine.

Same here, it's not too bad. You can get the sound for WoC through the TV. We could hear a little bit of muffled celebratory teenage joyousness but nothing that hindered us from sleeping. I think we were on the seventh floor...

I was concerned about the noise, too, before booking a park view room at PP. I'm a light sleeper, and what little noise I heard didn't not keep me up at all. The parks closed at 10:00 that time of year, but I go to bed at 9:00 so I would have noticed if it was a big problem.

I can't believe how many sunrise and nighttime photos I took; the view was just so stunning. I say book it!

After a long hard day at the parks, I don't hear anything once my head hits the pillow. We were on the 12th floor above the pool area last year, and even with some kids down there, I couldn't hear them.

Perhaps I'm the odd man out, and with a 2 year old we were back in our rooms early at night. I thought WOC was super loud, and didn't realized they did it during the week.

Otherwise normal daytime noises, but my concern was putting my son to bed with WOC blaring in the background. For those that stay in the parks later, shouldn't be too big of a deal.

The noise has never been an issue for us and DH is a light sleeper. We LOVE the view! If you think the noise might be a problem, consider bringing a white noise machine or playing white noise on your phone. PPH is our favorite DLR hotel :goodvibes

Thank you all. I am a light sleeper and do need a good night's rest to be able to function the next day, so I do plan on bringing a noise machine.

This will probably be a one time trip so I want to make the most of it. I just love the idea of being able to see the park and WOC from the hotel window. You can't do that at WDW. We have DI&S booked now, but I'm really thinking about switching to PP. So many decisions! :)

Although I do love the view, I hate to say it but I was definitely kept awake by grad night noise and I am NOT a light sleeper.
