Holy Crap! If you all only knew how many responses we've gotten since the show went up. I am sure every person on the podcast team list will agree that we've been flooded with these subject lines all day - awesome! I swear a new one comes in every minute.

I sent an E-mail sayingt that I am available to do so....even julie made that comment right after Pete talked about it

Sounds like I've really missed something special. No time to listen to the podcast today, hopefully tomorrow.

I think it's great that we'll have the chance to be part of the testing :yay:

(Crossing my fingers that I get picked)

Me too! hey corey put in a good word for me and DHS_Flo :thumbsup2:goodvibes

I sent my email in earlier and can't wait to find out if I get picked!!!!

With the way Pete taunted us about Project X....we're all excited about it! Not surprised Apple's profits are sky high with so many people having iPhones!

Where do we sign up for Project X for Blackberries?

Don't forget about the BB's, there are far more BB's in use than iphones.
Do you really want to cut off tons of your users just because they have something different?

The correct way to write 'apps' is just write it in html so they can be used by all mobile devices via a browser. Better to write programs in one universal format than be locked in to proprietary formats and have to do re-writes for each individual device.

From what I see on the boards there are many users with many devices, all trying to do the same thing: access this web site and services from their mobile device of their choice.

If I had an iPhone, you'd have gotten one more. Unfortunately DP has one and he won't be visiting the parks anytime soon...

They are not cutting off any users by doing an iphone app. You will not have any less access to the boards after it is released than you do now. They are simply making an app for iphone users.

As far as the web app thing, there was a time when you could only use web apps for the iphone (first gen) and I thought that it was terrible. There is a reason that the Itunes app store has sold over a BILLION apps and its because they are AWESOME. :cool2:

I already sent in my request but wasnt sure what I should put on it. Do we send our information/disusername? I was a bit confused!

There must be a great number of iPhone and iPod Touch users out there, based on the number of requests coming in.

Me thinks Apple has a hit on their hands.
