Nobody really has to read this, but...

No pin here either. I take every survey, have a disney visa, price and save trips, order maps and trip planning dvds and NOTHING has worked for us. Maybe being a frequent visitor makes a differance because we have been at least once a year since 1998. I have scoured every disney destinations email I get to no avail. It is depressing, huh. :sad2:

Nothing for else either...ever. I've done every suggestion I've read:

Gone to the Disney site and saved vacations - check
Saved packages and room only - check
Completed any/all surveys given to me - check
Disney Visa holder - check
Checked all email addresses AND spam folders - check
Added Disney Destinations to my address book - check
Ordered the planning DVD - check
Ordered the custom maps - check
Called and asked if there is a PIN on attached to our name - check
Crossed my fingers while holding my breath - check

I sure get lots of Disney emails asking me to buy other stuff tho! I think I've only gotten one or two from Disney Destinations, and they were ads for general public deals I already know about (and that don't help me)....So I KNOW they have my email - they just won't send me what I want!

We really wanted to upgrade to Deluxe this April but can't do it unless we get a deal.

We've gotten two offers via regular mail to names of people that I don't know and know never lived at this addres... I think they do that just to get my hopes up so they can dash them.

we have a disney visa. we request a travel dvd every time there's a new one. we go every year, sometimes several times. Once we didn't go for 2 years almost.
we've bought a share of disney stock. we've ordered from the disney store online. we've written checks to the Disney store in the mall. we subscribe to Family fun. We've booked in my name. We've booked in my DH's name. We've taken extended family and booked multiple rooms. We've booked only one room. We've stayed at POP. We've stayed at mods. We've stayed at Deluxes.

(That's all I can think of)

never a pin................................... and sigh, wouldn't I love one about now.

I am a member of the no pin club also! I have done everything you could think of trying to get a pin. Then I had an idea. My husband has to work so my parents are going with me to bring the kids for spring break so I created an account for them on WDW.com and priced some trips and looked around under their login. GUESS WHAT??? In exactly one week they received a pin in the mail (snail mail) yesterday. We are calling to use it first thing this morning. I am sooo pumped!

:jumping1:

Thanks for whoever sent the pixie dust our way. And here is some for everyone else still needing it.pixiedust:

Signing up in the "no-pin-for-you-club" today. :sad2:

For what I have read, most if not all people who got the "pin-code", are not frequent guests in WDW. We, as members of this new found club, go so often, that Disney never have to put a carrot in front of us to make us magical return to Disney year after year....Good or bad marketing strategies???!!

I'm a member too.:sad1:

I just called for the last time to confirm there was nothing for me and paid by balance in full.:dance3: So excited.:santa: evan though we are paying rack:banana:

I stated last year that we would not be going this year if I did not get a pinpopcorn:: I could saved those words:rotfl2:

We have received 1 pin code last spring and 1 this past September. Both times they came after we requested something. The first one was after we requested custom maps and the second one was after we requested the planning DVD.

Dont know if it was coincidenc or not, but couldnt hurt to try this.

I was so excited when I got an email that said "Thanks from your pals at Disney!" but it was free letterhead. :rotfl:

Bummer!

We NEVER get a code, but my parents, who have went with us on 3 of our trips, seem to get one every other month!!!

We are in the same boat!!:) We want to go in Apr.,the 22-29 for our b-days! Love to upgrade to deluxe!!:wizard:

OMG , I just called the Disney Travel company, we are already booked for 12/24-12/30 of this year. I called really to downgrade from Deluxe dining to regular dining plan, but I remembered to ask if my name had a pin attached, and guess what the cm said. YES!!!! So I got my discount and for the price of ddp I got Dxdp plus staying at csr, which was also an upgrade from Pop.
I am so excited:woohoo:

So it does pay to call and ask. She was a very sweet cm. Thank you to all or I would of never heard of the pin discount.

Yet another member of the club. I have tried everything too, and when I called yesterday there was no good news for me there either. We are DL APs and only make it to FL once every 3 years and I really want our trip this May to be special. I WANT A PIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never gotten one either. We are booked on a bounce back for next Sept, but I would really LOVE to add another quick trip for my birthday in May. If I got a PIN, I think I could talk DH into it! Maybe I will go try ordering more maps :goodvibes

I've been to disney many times also. This past year I've actually gotten quite a few pins....although havent' been able to use them. I think I've gotten them recently for a couple of reason.

1. been on wdw.com many times pricing vacations for others...so I've put in a bunch of dates and haven't booked
2.Gone every year for the past 10 yrs but the last 2 trips weren't booked under my name so maybe they think I need a pin to come back
3. With the economy being the way it is ....I think they are offering more deals than usual.

These are just guesses

We have gotten two. One PIN came by email last year after we had already booked our trip (we used the PIN) and my husband just got a good one in the mail this past week. Funny thing is that I am the one who books, and takes the surveys but he got the latest PIN. The only thing I can figure is that we went two years in a row and he used a credit card to buy stuff so maybe that is how they got him on the list:confused3
Unfortunately I can't talk him into a threepeat so this PIN will go unused:sad:
