NOBODY IS MORE SURPRISED THAN US! GKTW alumni return! 10/21 MOVING DAY!!

That is so fun for your girls to be on the cover!

I am praying that Rachel is able to get better soon! That is so rough, and I am sure she is ready to get everything back to normal, as well as you too. That has to be stressful, but you have lots of people out here rooting for you and your family!

$2 is GOOD! Glad he was happy and I KNOW about Mama's having to make sure these things are done. Once I had surgery when the TF was supposed to make an appearance. Seems when Rachel got up it appeared the TF hadn't come, but no, it had just "fallen" behind the bed. :lmao: There is always a way. :rotfl2:

I am glad the Morning sickness is much better and yes, we don't need you zoning out or falling asleep while driving. And you know how I love the pics of your littles!! So glad the phone was quiet for you so you could have a little peace yesterday!

Thank you for the continued prayers. :goodvibes

It IS fun to now look and see if they have any copies in the waiting rooms. Last Monday when we went to the pediatrician, I was shocked to see it hanging on the wall beside Rachel's head. I showed all of the ladies up front, they hadn't even noticed it was the girls (they told me the vendor just comes in and puts them n the well-child waiting room and they hadn't even seen it yet)...when we came back out, ALL of the mags were gone, they had taken the copies to distribute to all of the staff. That made Rachel smile.

Praying EVERYONE has a peaceful day!

We do what we have to do to keep the kids happy (and believing!!)

I've been known to take the anti nausea medication and 20 mins later DH will look over at me on the counch and I'll be sound asleep!! I'm just glad I figured out early on that drowsiness is one of the side affects I have.

That's awesome that once they realized it was Rachel and Lisa they distributed the magazines to everyone!! Love that the girls are famous!!

I dropped Benjamin off this morning for his first day (the others don't go back until Thursday). He looked positively sick when he got out of the car, so I've been praying for him all morning. The bully from last year was getting dropped off at the same time and Benjamin looked like he was going to pass out. We had been under the impression he was transferring schools this year so it was not a nice surprise this morning. I only hope they don't really share many classes and their lockers are not anywhere close to each other.

May I add another request? A very dear friend of ours, like a second grandmother to my kids, passed away last night. She had a kidney transplant 20 years ago, and it is a miracle she lasted this long with it, but she got sick and went downhill VERY quickly this weekend, so the kids didn't get a chance to say goodbye. In a way I am glad that the last memories of her they will have are from church a couple weeks ago where she was her usual cheerful bubbly self, but selfishly I have been in tears all morning thinking of how much we are going miss Grandma Judy. I know she is no longer in any pain and is thrilled beyond imagination to be in Heaven. She just touched so many people and we are having a tough day today, so if you would remember her family in prayer, I know they would appreciate it.

Prayers that Benjamin is able to have a great year and that him and the bully don't cross paths too many times.

Sorry for the loss of your family's 2nd grandma. Prayers for you and everyone else that needs them!!

I will add my congrats to Lisa and Rachel too, just a little later than all the others but I had to work today and have just gotten to read the posts from today and yesterday. Better late than never ..........right?

You do NOT sound like a broken record, you sound like someone who cares what happens to all of us on this thread and you want us all to know it! I, for one, am GLAD when you log in and let us know you are praying! :grouphug::goodvibes:goodvibes:grouphug: When does school start for ya'll??

Thank you. :flower3:

I started a pre-trip report. The link is in my signature.

I wanted to share a picture of Rachel and Lisa on the cover of a local Kids Directory magazine. It comes out quarterly so they will be featured for three months. They are distributed wherever parents and kids may be: MD offices, Chuck E Cheeses, Monkey Joes, Restaurants, etc. We have found them at several of our MD offices the past week and that is WILD to look over and see the girls on the cover...it made us smile! This photo was taken by CSA back in June at the Rock-a-Thon. They loved it so much they asked if they could feature the girls, of course I said yes. :goodvibes

Their Website with the girls on the cover.

They are also on their Facebook Page.

That is fantastic!! The girls look amazing!! Next up the Rollingstone!!

Ya-hoo! Congrats to your girls! We are so proud of them!!! I finally caught up on all the weekend posts and will be praying for all the requests mentioned. I love how supportive everyone is on this thread.

I dropped Benjamin off this morning for his first day (the others don't go back until Thursday). He looked positively sick when he got out of the car, so I've been praying for him all morning. Poor Benjamin. I feel for him. I hope today was wonderful!

Prayers for you and your friends family for your loss.

Thoughts and prayers to all.:grouphug:

I hope Rachel is improving, she is in my prayers! Hope your busy week goes smoothly.
I love the cover shot, what a great photo of the girls!

prayers for all in need.

Aww, thanks for the prayers ladies - you are all such a sweet bunch! Benjamin had a pretty good day yesterday. He and the other boy are in a couple classes together and he said the other child "accidentally bumped" him pretty hard in the hallway a couple of times, but he is going to try to ignore it and hope that by giving him no reaction he'll tire of it. Plus, I said we should give him the benefit of the doubt for now, those hallways get awfully crowded in between classes so maybe it really was accidental. The teachers just handed out supply lists in class yesterday (why can't they give them early like they do for elementary?!) and of course there are several things I need to go pick up for him. I had gotten him a bunch of 1 inch binders but the teachers were specifically asking for 1 1/2 inch ones to accommodate spiral notebooks and paper inside, so I need to run to Walmart today to exchange the ones we bought, as well as get the other items they wanted that I didn't anticipate. (5 colors of highlighters? Really? 4 won't work just as well? 5, count 'em, 5 packages of dry erase markers? And a graphing calculator for algebra that the teacher admits they will only need once or twice this year, sigh!) Ah well, for the most part we already had what they wanted so I am happy about that.

I hope Rachel is starting to make some progress. It sounds like you aren't sure if she is getting better or you are just getting used to the new normal for her? We'll continue to pray for her and hope she is able to get plenty of rest to aid in her healing. When do you have to start back to school? Do you have some flexibility that way to allow her to take it easy for awhile? I think I remember you saying you had done some stuff over the summer so that gives you some wiggle room this fall. Hope Lisa's new extra work from her therapist doesn't add too much more stress on top of everything else you have to do these days.

Have a wonderful day!

Judy, thanks for the prayers for the job, they said that they will be in touch so who knows what that really means. That is so special that Rachel and Lisa are on the cover of a magazine. I know Lisa probably really loves it.

I hope that Benjamin doesn't have too many problems with the bully this year, it is ridiculous that kids feel the need to act that way towards other kids.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone that needs them.

I LOVE that picture, it was such a great day and brings back lots of memories. My girls love to perform together, I have missed that these past three weeks. It feels like months.

I love that picture too!! :goodvibes The girls look like stars!!! pixiedust:

Oh Judy, how I feel for you. I agree it feels longer than 3 weeks!! :sad2::confused3 Praying for healing soon!!

Oh by the way, I love that the tooth fairy money had fallen behind the bed :rotfl2::thumbsup2... great point there is always a way!! I will have to remember this just in case!!!

Big hugs, :grouphug:

Madeline

Love somebody's idea of an autographed copy. I bet then Lisa would really feel famous. If you decide to do it and it's not too much trouble I bet Tessa would love an Autographed copy. She tells everyone she meets about Lisa and Rachel and she has a wall in her room of pics and signatures of up and coming musicians which could definitely include your girls.

Morning Judy! Hope that the lack of posting is due to the normal running back and forth that you do all of the time and not due to any emergency. Oh I know what could be keeping you from posting! You are helping the girls get all of the autographed copies ready to mail out to us fans. Yep, I bet that's it. :rotfl: Seriously, just wanted to pop in and see how you were doing and let you know that I'm still praying.

Praying for the family and everyone's needs! Know how busy you are with all the doctor and dentist appointments. I'm keeping Judy busy helping her do some research so that keeps her busy reading the information and cuts into her DIS time. Take a break when you can and hope you are getting some good sleep at night.

Hi everyone!

Just dropping by to let you all know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers!

Hi from Orlando, Judy! I am having a great time and think of you and your family whenever I see a Wish family...there are actually quite a few here right now! Praying that things are well with you!

Judy, just wanted to say we are thinking of you and praying for your family. Hope you had a wonderful day today and saw some real improvement in Rachel's recovery.

Checking in to see if there were any updates. I'll continue to pray for Rachel to heal.

Checking in again, Judy. You know how we worry when we don't hear from you! Hopefully, you are just super busy with "regular life" and not something too serious.

Elisabeth and Ezra were supposed to start school today, but Ezra woke up in the middle of the night vomiting and he has a fever, so I guess kindergarten will have to wait. He is so disappointed, but I told him his teacher will not be too happy if he tries to share his germs with the rest of the class. Elisabeth was up super early because she was so excited about school. And of course, when I tried to take photos this morning, the batteries for the camera were dead and I didn't have time to grab new ones, so even our first-day photos are going to have to wait!

RACHEL yay for the completed potty training. Alexa had MLP panties to but she's graduated to Bella Sara LOL!

Thanks!! I think all little girls go through a MLP phase. :)

Yeah! Glad Annabelle succeeded in becoming potty trained!! James on the other hand has decided he's happy in his diapers. Can't even get him to pick a toy or something he wants. Oh well he'll do it when he's ready and I don't need the stress right now.

Thank you so much. Praying for you and your pregnancy. Your right he will do it when he is ready. :)

My friends mom that I asked for prayer a while ago is doing much better according to my friend but I pray she stays that way and does not have another episode and end up in the hospital again.

I am praying for all and hope everyone has a good rest of the week and weekend!!

Joining in with extra prayers as well. I would love to have an autographed copy of the magazine. I am sure that could get expensive though.
