Nobby's Gnomies... heading to WDW in April 2010

I had no idea! Blake is calling the resort now to see if it's going to effect us. My parents are going down to the Barefoot Landing area on May 1st for the week. Their original week was in September, but the hurricane came through and they were able to get their week changed to May since MB got evacuated then, NOW hopefully it won't get cancelled again!
What is going on lately!?!

I know! Stupid work! I don't know what to do. Especially since Marc already has the week after I get back from Disney off. Hmmm. I'll have to talk to him tonight and see what he says. I have 3 weeks total to take and the othe week is in September the week of my Birthday. It would be nice to have some time off in December though....

Hey Jen, I have some possibly good news for you. It looks like you may have sent your unluckyness my way!

This morning about 10 minutes before we need to be heading out the door, I send Patrick to get dressed. First of all, my son has outgrown about 10 pairs of jeans over the course of this winter so he is down to 3 or 4 pair. I threw all the dirty ones in the wash yesterday and realized that I had forgotten to put them in the dryer UGH! So I threw 1 pair in the dryer and proceed to wait for them to dry (on top of the fact that I did buy him a new pair yesterday but they didn't fit!)

Finally, running late enough that he had missed the bus, we ran out the door knowing I was going to have to drop him off at school and I would be getting to work later than I like. In my frustration, I wasn't paying attention and as I was backing out of my driveway, I scraped the hell out of my front bumper on the cement barrier on the edge

AAARRRGGH!!! I should have just had him put on the dirty jeans he wore yesterday and called it good enough! Bless him though, when I pulled out the half wet jeans and handed them to him, he made a face but didn't complain one bit.

Hey Jess, are you still gonna get to go on your getaway this weekend?

OH NO KATIE....I didn't mean to send it your way!! I hope your day has gotten better!! Uggh about the car...I did that once backing out of our garage now I'm not allowed to park cars in the garage anymore LOL!!!

Could you always skip a few days after your trip to work and then take a few off so that you're with Marc? So, say you take your week for Disney, go to work for 3 days and then have off for the other 4 days?

I was thinking about that. I'm going to have to talk to him and see what he wants to do. I think I'm going to leave it up to him since he's the one missing out on Disney this year.

AND I have been hoping to win $1000 from my radio station but I can't even get through when the time comes, let alone have a chance to play the game. I figured if I could soften Greg up with news of $$$, he would take the news of the van better

Hi guys! Ok, so we had to change our dates. We figured being so close to the area, it could be a hit or miss and we wouldn't want to drive 8 hours down there and not be able to do anything, especially if they're starting to close some businesses and Blake called the fishing pier and they said it was really smokey there. Blake gave the hotel manager the allergy excuse for me and he said that under the circumstances he would change it without a penalty. So we're going for 5 nights now, in a 1 bedroom, instead of 2 (since it wasn't available for our previous dates), under the manager's special at $70 a night from May 10th-15th, breakfast is included every morning. Plus, the 12th is our 5 year anniversary, so that way we're saving money in that regard. Blake and I are still going to the spa, on the 12th now, he's getting a deep tissue massage and I'm getting a swedish massage and facial.

Now, as a compromise, since we both wanted to go to the beach this weekend, we're going back down to his house because virginia beach is only 25 minutes from his mom's house. I'm trying to be nice
But we're leaving tonight so I'll try and get on a few more times before we leave.
Jen-Keep your eyes peeled for Mr. Nobby, he should be on his way soon!!

Good luck with the contests Katie! Blake is our contest man. He's won Bryan Adams tickets, Dancing with the Stars tickets and Smashing Pumpkins tickets within the last year and a half. But, we sell them on ebay to get the money for them..shh

Did you see the addition to the MK Morning EMH's starting today?

Starting April 23, Liberty Square, Frontierland, Fantasyland will be included in Morning Extra Magic Hours.

What do you think it means? Does it mean that the entire lands will be open??

According to the folks at WDWMagic.com, the Magic Kingdom will add Frontierland’s Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Fantasyland’s Snow White and Mad Tea Party attractions to its morning Extra Magic Hours lineup. We suspect this is in response to the imminent closing of Space Mountain for its April to November refurbishment.
