Cast of characters; Me DW age 41 and chief trip planner, DH age 42 and just along for the ride, DS#1 age 14 -typical jaded teenager,DS#2 age 11 the " sensitive one " , and DD age 8 loves WDW just like her mom. Day One : We arrive at Port Orleans Riverside at noon after a long flight. Alas our room is not ready because we had requested a specific building ( #14 ). Does anyone mind getting changed in the restrooms? Thankfully, no- we stash our luggage and head to Epcot- no way are we going to Magic Kingdom on Easter Sunday- besides, I don't feel like I'm in WDW until I've ridden Spaceship Earth. Arrive at Epcot-the weather is beautiful! And look- no line for Spaceship Earth! After that it's over to Test Track, which has shut down for the moment. We do Universe of Energy, then back to Test Track- DH and boys get in singles line -10 min. wait- of course it shuts down again- this time they get passes to come back anytime and ride without waiting. Walk through the rest of Epcot-very few crowds I might add. We have ps for Cape May Cafe clambake- short wait, and then DH and DS#1 see the piles of steamers and mussels, and well, lets just say we got our money's worth. This was a great meal, DD is a picky eater, but she was able to find plenty to eat. The only thing I didn't care for was the chowder, but that just left more room for the banana cream pie! I lost count of how many buckets DH and DS#1 ate ( 7? 8? 9?- it's all a blur of buckets and shells ) . DS#2 another fussy eater was also happy with the food-especially the taffy that came with the check! Whipped out my webcertificate card (thanks to the reward board! ) phew! it went through with no problem! Found a perfect spot for Illuminations, but I looked at my kids and they were all half asleep, so we headed back to the hotel for some much needed sleep, and watched the fireworks from the bus. Next episode MGM Studios: Where are the lines???
