Tuesday 27th July 2010
Up by 7.40am. Sat on the balcony with a fruit bowl, OJ, cereal and most importantly coffee. Ashley was up and in the hot tub in our en suite (their bathroom hardly got used, they preferred ours), I rang Le Barge to book a dolphin trip for Saturday. Only been here a day but couldnt resist putting a load in the washing machine, wasn't much just travel clothes, underwear and tee shirts from yesterday, I think it was a case of me wanting to have a 'play' with the equipment!
We have never been shopping at the outlets or malls before so thought we'd go and have a look. We're not great shoppers, quite frankly it bores us (all except Glen, he should have been a girl the amount of clothes he buys!!!).
He bought some shorts, a shirt, trainers and I had some trainers but soon food was on our minds so we went in the food court and had a family sized pizza, drinks and 2 sides for $21.
Time to go back to Floridays for the daily dip in the pool (and cocktails even though it was only 3pm)
Back to DTD to Ghiradellis for ice cream, we didn't want a meal after lunchtime so settled for just dessert for tea. Had another look around the shops.
What Glen has been and always will be!
We got as far as the cinema and as they were showing Toy Story 3 in 10 minutes we decided to go and see it. $42 for the 4 of us, we were split up the two boys on their own and us a bit further down the cinema. I sat next to a girl who kept shaking her leg while munching on popcorn, she was that vigorous it was shaking my seat. It was started to make me feel sick, it got that bad I asked her if she always shakes her leg (hoping she'd apologise and stop but she just replied 'yes'). John swapped seats with me as it didn't bother him and the movie began. Really enjoyed it. We made our way home afterwards as it was past 11pm. When Ashley got undressed his poor little shoulders were red raw. For some unknown reason we never thought to use sun lotion and at no stage did we feel like we were burning, he was in the full sun in the water all afternoon and had a definite red/white line divide. Poor kid I felt so sorry for him. For those who don't know he's special needs and doesn't always mention when something is hurting him, he was once at school sitting on the floor in the classroom with the teachers chair (with her sitting on it) on his hand and he never mentioned it to her until she realised.
